Summer Days!

Allie's the only one that was in the mood for a picture apparently. But here are the three amigos!
Cheap labor! Gotta love it! Although I think they ended up getting wetter than most of the dishes. You get what you pay for :)
I've finally given up. I took down the crib in my room and replaced it with the swing. Miah now sleeps in the swing for bed time and all her naps. She was waking up two or three times a night and I would end up getting only a few hours of solid sleep. Yeah, not cool. But in the swing she sleeps between 8 and 10 hours straight. No contest...swing wins!
Tate has been just a busy boy this summer. Riding his bike, swimming, digging in dirt, playing with Nerf guns, and picking up chicks with his power wheel (i.e. cousin Macey, his friend Maesi and his sister Allie). He was so cute and even gave Allie a driving lesson. He's a very patient teacher!

Allie wants to do whatever Tate does and she will let you know it! She has been working a lot on the online preschool and the highest I've heard her count was to 40 but I think the only reason she stopped was because she got tired of counting. She knows all the letter and letter sounds and can work a computer and blue ray player like someone years older than her. And she doesn't turn three for another two weeks!

This is what I found Tate and Allie doing one afternoon! So talented! It's the ABC Jam!

Miah's blessing day! June 27th, blessed by her Daddy Alex in the Coral Canyon 4th ward.
My grandma came from Arkansas for my brothers wedding. A couple kids I know got very spoiled!
At Miah's 2 month doctor's appointment she weighed in at a whopping 12 lbs. She was in the 70th percentile for everything but head circumference. Mommy makes cream, but I think it was probably more thanks to the 4 oz. bottle of soy formula I had to give her every day around 4 p.m. to stave off her nightly colic attack. Every single one of my kids have been colicy and by all accounts it's probably thanks to my super thick and overly rich milk. It's hard for little tummies to digest for the first few months.
Miah is now 3 months old and loves to...
Smile!
Have someone talk to her
Lay on her back and swat at toys hanging down
Watch brother and sister (they are always doing something loud and interesting)
Nap in her swing
Play with Mommy or Daddy
Be held
Take a bath (more especially splash in the bath)

Miah can...
hold her head up when on her tummy
sit up by herself for about 10 seconds. (All by herself! That Buddha belly works good as a kick stand :)
Almost roll over

Miah will not...
Be happy in her car seat :(
Sleep anywhere but the swing for naps
Sleep through the night like she did a few weeks ago
Stop spitting up
Stop being colicy (although now colicy time has moved to between 3 and 6 a.m.)
Take a binky (She'll take one now and then, but over all it's a no go)

Catching Up

I don't know why I can't post pictures so they'll be coming soon, but here's a little of what we've been doing for the last month or so...(deep breath)...

Mid May, after nearly all of Alex's real estate deals had fallen through and he had taken a job with Allconnect we got the opportunity to move back to the Pine Valley Town homes. Since the whole point of us moving to that particular house in St. George was no longer relevant (st. George fire department) we jumped at the chance to be spending hundreds of dollars of month less and be able to live right across the street from my sister Amanda.

So the first of June we moved, again and as far as we're concerned for the last time until we buy a house. My parents came down to help us move and 5 days later me and the kids rode up with them to Roy for my brother's wedding. (Alex couldn't get work off). We stayed there for a about a week before heading back down. Then on June 27th we blessed Miah and celebrated Alex's 29th birthday on the 29th!

The kids are doing good all things considering. Miah will be three months old next week, my family reunion is the end of this month, Allie will turn 3 on Aug. 1st and Tate starts kindergarten Aug. 11th.

I will post pictures when I can, but in the mean time I am going to immerse myself in a good book for a while and just try take a break. Yeah right!
